Some more from Dog Gone Stamps

I spent a lil time tonight working with my new stamps. The bagpiper cracks me up. I tried to keep this card clean and simple. I used liquid applique on his beer foam.

Today on PaperCraftPlanet, Whimsy Stamps was having a Virtual Stamp Night. I tried to play along with some of the challenges, but lost track of time and with the time difference I just ran out of time. But here is one I think I squeaked by. He is the Dog Gone Stamps "Boy with Flowers". Dontcha just love the look on his face?!? I think he's quite handsome.

Martine is having a Blogiversary

Martine at The Craft Table is getting ready to celebrate her blogiversary. She has great blog candy! Go Look.... now!!! LOL

Dog Gone Stamps - Fisherman

This guy totally cracks me up. If you have ever been to Kodiak, or for that matter watched Deadliest Catch, than you'll understand why he makes me giggle... HE LOOKS LIKE ALL THE FISHERMEN HERE! I knew as soon as I saw him I had to have him! The background paper is Camo Fish from Karen Foster. I colored him with copics and prismacolor markers.

A couple things for now

I'll post a card this afternoon. I have come across a few more fantastic blogs.

A Scrapjourney.

And Crafts4Eternity They have some great challenges there, too.

I won! I won! I won! I'm so freakin' excited. I love those stamps by Starving Artistamps! I still can't believe I won! I *heart* challenges and blog candy!

I'm working on my submission for their Recipe challenge.

I won! I'm floored! I am having such a blast with all the challenges that are out there.

I gave my blog a makeover

Let me know what you think. I kinda like it! I kept trying to change the colors that I had up and wasn't completely pleased with it. I think I found one I like. I love love love these colors!

Today I didn't do much. I've had a sinus infection and it is kickin' my behind. Earlier today I was at the computer in the basement and all of a sudden everything was shaking. I thought at first it was the kids running upstairs, then I realized that they wouldn't make concrete move. :) IT WAS AN EARTHQUAKE. The blinds were shaking. It was really an odd feeling to be in the basement during this occurrence.

I plan on stamping tonight. There are a couple challenges I want to try. Sketch Saturday has one and Bombshell has a Valentine's Challenge on PCP.

Also, I have started a group on PCP for Dog Gone Stamps. Join me! We are just getting it set up, but it will be a fun group. Also be sure to check out Dog Gone Stamps and all the new images they have been busy putting up on the site. There are a bunch of new ones that I just love! I've been working with the ones I just got recently, while waiting for another order to arrive... *I think I have a problem* *grin!!* This GUY reminds me of just about all the locals here in Kodiak. If you have ever been down by the docks here, you know what I mean!!!

Unity Stamp Company

I got my Unity Kit of the Month the other day. I adore their stamps. We carry them at the store, too. But, the kits are TO DIE FOR CUTE!! Colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added stickles and a marabou puff (those hairbow supplies come in handy sometimes). Most paper is Stampin' Up. The teal patterned paper is unknown.

I think this is one of my favorite cards.

Copic Blog Candy

Head on over to Crafting & Living in Japan and see what Michelle's blog is all about! Great giveaway and a great blog!

Stamp Something has a recipe challenge starting today. Check it out!

I think doing the challenges (thanks for the push, Lisa) has gotten my mojo back! I was feeling a little uninspired for a while, but things seem to be getting back into groove.

Instyle Stamps has a Thankful Thursday challenge, too.

If you are a member at Paper Craft Planet there is a sketch challenge. Sketches are a great way to get the creative juices flowing.

Some more from Dog Gone Stamps

Ok, so I'm sticking with the Elephant theme tonight.

Isn't this pair sweet?! I'm having so much fun with my stamps from Dog Gone Stamps. This one is Two Elephants. DGS has a lot of great Valentine's images.

Colored with prismacolor markers. The sentiment is computer generated. I added flowers and pearl centers. The patterned paper is from a stack, I think. Not really sure... it came out of a big box I put misc. paper into.

Instyle Stamps Thankful Thursday Challenge

and another Victoria Case digital stamp. This is "Trunk full of love". He looks fabulous in person. I used crystal effects on his eyes and on the heart. They really POP in real life. He is colored with Copics/Prismacolor markers. I added some prima flowers and dew drops. His heart sparkles after adding a lil stardust.

Check out Instyle's challenge HERE.

A little more time to play... Dog Gone Stamps

I got new stamps today from Dog Gone Stamps. The first time I visited their website, I immediately fell in love with this giraffe. I mean, how could you not?!?! Colored with Copics & Prismacolor markers. I added a few dew drops. I also got to use my new Bigz Top Note die, too.

Blog Party

My Creative Cafe

Whoo hoooo PARRRRRRRR TAAYYYYYYYY! LOL Check 'em out!

Blog Candy on Creative Antics

Check out Creative Antics. She has some fabulous blog candy she is giving away.

I'm on a roll!

Lately I have rediscovered the joy in stamping. I have rediscovered my passion for my craft. When I am alone with ink, paper and stamps, I am lost in my own world... and it is FABULOUS!

I did stamp again tonight. I used some of my Thomas Kinkade stamps. I need to set up my studio light box so I can get some better pictures. I even have an area designated for that (where my new tripod will even fit) as I have rearranged the basement.

And yeah, about the rearrangement of the basement. It is coming along. SLOWLY. But coming along. I need to get more totes from Walmart for fabric. And set up my stamping area a little better. I have it sectioned into areas... sewing/embroidery; stamping; hairbows; and a computer area with my Cricut Expression.

I like the computer set up this way a lot better. I'll be taking pictures soon so those of you who saw the 'before' will be able to see the 'after'. I wanted my area to have more of a studio feel to it. So, this weekend my goal is to make some major progress towards finishing. I need to get more gutters too for my ribbon and punches.

I'll post the TK card soon.

I suppose I could have put these all in one post...

but... I didn't know I was going to have so much fun! This is another design from Victoria Case. Luvbirds! Aren't they darling?

Ok, so I'm totally loving the instant gratification of digital stamps.

I colored them with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I used the Swiss dots embossing folder with my cuttlebug for the background. They kinda make ya go "awwwwww *sigh*"

InStyle Stamps Challenge with Victoria Case Art Designs Image

I am so lovin' on these images. This one is Waterfairy. She is so lovely. I colored her with copics and prismacolor pencils/gamsol. Added a lil sparlke to her wings, trim and eyelids with the Stardust gelly roll pen.

Victoria Case Art Designs

One of the girls on the Cricut message board birthday club posted a link to Victoria Case Art Designs. Her images are adorable!

So this first one was created for a challenge on Stamp Something. It was a birthday challenge.

This is "A horse of course". He is colored with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The base is SU Kraft paper. The denim I think is from CTMH. The jumbo eyelets are SU. So much fun to color!!!

This next one I just love. It is a simple design, but the frogs are too cute! And here is "Pond Music"
